How to Merge Facebook Accounts | Merge More Facebook Accounts Together

 Merging     No comments

How to Merge Facebook Accounts | Merge More Facebook Accounts Together - While  Facebook does not allow users to auto-merge all friends, photos, status updates, check-ins or other information, you can manually merge parts of your FB accounts.  Unfortunately, you won’t be able to migrate or re-create all of your data on FB. How to Bulk Download Facebook Data

As a first step, download your data. This procedure can take a while and the archive will serve as your small backup, should you decide to deactivate or delete your Facebook account. It won’t be of great help in restoring any data, though.

Briefly, go to your General Account Settings and click Download a copy of your Facebook data at the bottom.

This will lead you to a page where you can download your information and get a copy of what you have shared on Facebook.

Now do start your archive on this first page. In addition find where it says You can also download anexpanded archive… and click the respective link. This will guide you to the Expanded Archive download page where you will be asked to re-enter your password.

Now here is where you will need patience. Depending on how big your main and your expanded archive are and how many other archives are in the queue, this can take some time. And with that I mean a couple of hours.

Smart Links:

  • Have you changed your email address on Facebook?
  • How you can change your Facebook password

Note that you must download both archives, to receive a full backup of your account!

Once your archive is available for download, this is what the page will look like.

Although your own photos are supposed to be included in the archive, you should download your Facebook Photos separately. Not only is this procedure another backup, it is also a lot faster and might provide you with more options.

Restore Friends

As mentioned above, you won’t be able to restore or migrate all of your data and that includes your friends. You need to manually add friends to your new account. Unfortunately, it is not possible export your Facebook friends to a third party account and then re-import them to a new Facebook account.

However, you can import contacts from third party accounts such as Skype or Gmail. So if you have contact details of most of your friends on accounts outside of Facebook, you can take a small shortcut. Go to your new Facebook account and import contacts from any supported third party account (CSV files are also supported) via the Find Friends page.

While you can export your Facebook contacts to Yahoo! Mail, it is not be possible to re-import them to Facebook. And contacts imported from Facebook will certainly not be included in a Yahoo! CSV file.

Note that only contact information of friends who have agreed to have their email address included in information downloads can be imported into your Yahoo! account.

Restore Account Data

Here comes the big letdown. There is no way to upload or otherwise import your archive to restore or transfer data from your old Facebook account to your new one. Whatever you want to restore, you have to do it (semi-)manually or use third party tools. Right now, the archive merely serves as a personal backup, nothing more.

So what are your options? You can re-add your old friends as shown above, re-upload photos you downloaded from your old account, re-tag your friends in your photos, re-join groups you were a member of, re-add Facebook apps, manually re-do all your personal settings, including general account and privacy settings, e.g. secure your Facebook account, add trusted contacts, or hide your personal settings. I wish I had good news, but as I said before, you cannot auto-merge two accounts or restore data, so you essentially start from scratch.

If you're swamped with notifications from old web pages, it's most likely time to clean out those sorts.

Right here are a few straightforward means you can remove on your own from an old Facebook page you do not wish to be related to anymore.

How you can remove a Facebook web page
The first step to removing a Facebook page is identifying if you are an admin for that web page. Holding the admin title for a web page is the only means to have accessibility to erasing pages. If you aren't an admin, you will certainly have to demand accessibility from someone who is-- as well as they may not be inclined to grant you access if you intend on right away removing the page.

1) The best ways to erase a Facebook page using desktop

Most likely to the drop-down arrow in the top-right edge of your Facebook homepage and pick the web page you want to erase. In the instance below, I'm choosing my own writer web page, entitled "Kristen Hubby."

As soon as you get on the web page, click Settings in the menu bar at the top.

Scroll to the bottom of the "General" section in your setups, and click "Eliminate Page." Click "Remove (Page Name)" and also you will be triggered to validate.

Removing the page implies it will not be public any longer, as well as there will be a 14-day period where you can recover it if you would love to bring it back to life.

2) Ways to delete a Facebook web page by means of phone or tablet

Open your Facebook application. When you have the application open, most likely to the page you wish to remove as well as touch the 3 "..." in the top right corner.

A pop-up food selection will certainly appear; faucet Edit Settings. As soon as you are in your settings, go to General and scroll to the bottom of the page.

The last option as a whole will ask if you wish to remove the page. Faucet Delete [Page Call], validate your choice, and also say goodbye to that page. (It's a lengthy farewell considering that you still have the 14-day waiting period.).

What Happens When You Deactivate or Delete Facebook Account

When you are leaving Facebook, you have options to choose from; deactivating your Facebook temporarily is one of them, another is deleting or closing your Facebook account permanently.

The option of recovering your Facebook account is open to you if you choose to deactivate your FB account, but you should tread with caution if you choose to delete or block your Facebook account permanently because the chance of recovering or regaining any data or information from your account will not be available to you in the future: when once you delete or block your FB account, all your photos, videos, etc will be gone and you can't get it back.

Our advice to you is, if you have made up your mind, endeavor to download and back up your FB information (photos, videos, etc) because, you never can tell when you are going to need it.

Facebook has made it clear that it will take about 90 days (roughly three months) for its team to wipe off all your photos, videos, posts, likes, comments, messages, and everything else concerning your account off from their server. Other Facebook users including your friends won’t be able to visit your profile during the deletion process.

Before you bury your Facebook life, you should backup your data in case you need it in the future.

        5. Click Start My Archive in the Request My Download box.

How to Know who's Looking at Your Facebook Profile | Find Out Who Visited Your Facebook Account!

Its natural, but i have seen many people getting tricked by 3rd party software that doesn’t provide appropriate results but just spams on their Facebook Wall’s, so here’s a wonderful trick that’ll help you find who views your profile the most!

How to track who visited my facebook profile?
Its easy to do. Just follow these steps and you’ll succeed in finding out who visited your Facebook Profile!
              • Go To Your Facebook timeline- facebook.com/xyz
              • Right click on your timeline and hit “View page Source”.
              • Now, you’ll be redirected to a new page with lots codes.
              • Hold CTRL+F on your keyboard, a text box appears at the right corner, in that box, type- “InitialChatFriendsList” (Don’t include Quotes)
              • Next to that word, you’ll see a list of numbers, these are the profile ID’s of people who visit your timeline.
Just go to “facebook.com” and paste the ID number beside it with a “\” . For example, if the ID is abcd, you have to put it as- facebook.com/abcd.
The first ID shows the one who visits profile more often while the last ID never visits your profile!
